He is interested in assessing both the patient and family dynamics to create a holistic and behavioral approach to Psychiatry. Dr. Ramsey works closely with therapists, counselors, and psychologists to ensure a well-rounded and team approach in the care of patients. He works with schools in creating a comprehensive IEP or 504 plans. In addition, he enjoys the care and management of children, adolescents, and young adults with pervasive developmental disorders, Autism, Autistic Spectrum disorders, Asperger\u2019s, and LGBTQ related issues.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ramsey enjoys performing in local musical ensembles and theater. He likes traveling to Alaska, volunteering for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race, and exploring the outdoor activities here in Washington. You may not even be aware that there are two types of complete physicians in the United States\u2014DOs and MDs. The fact is that both DOs and MDs are fully qualified physicians licensed to prescribe medication and perform surgery.\u00a0DOs and MDs are alike in many ways.
